Our economy is struggling
We need to get our European freedom of movement back
We’re in a real economic crisis, largely caused and worsened by Brexit.
Labour won July’s election, but if it’s serious about fixing our economy, it needs to take the UK back into the single market and restore our European freedom of movement.
Rights to freely travel, work and live in continental Europe have been taken from UK citizens of all ages, starving us of opportunities and making us uncompetitive.
Sign our petition calling for Starmer’s Labour to tackle Brexit head-on.
People have had enough – here is what some of you had to say:
…I didn’t get the job as they were looking for somebody who could also work in Europe.
It isn’t right, my older colleagues all did two years abroad.
My generation can’t afford to pay rent, let alone buy a house. Why are politicians not doing the simple stuff like getting back in with Europe.
We can’t let this damage to our country continue. Sign today and join us in the campaign to get our freedom of movement back.

We should not have to be subject to these excessively strict 90/180 day stay rules forcing us to leave an EU country with strict consequences if we don't. Brexit is so Unfair! |
I have family in France and Italy, British friends in Croatia and 90 days in 180 is so difficult to understand the criteria. We want to travel freely as before. Brexit was a big mistake. |
I have family abroad the 90/180 day rule restricts me seeing them as often as I would like |
I think your email today said it all … the whole thing is now preposterous. I am lucky, I have a visa to live in Spain, but I still want to be a true ‘citizen of Europe’. |
I own a property in Bulgaria and this is where I want to live. I have many European friends who have the right to work and live as they please in Europe. My life is a joke. I have to count days in and out. I was also invited for a weekend in Italy and couldn’t go due to exceeding 90 days. |

I want to be able to take work opportunities anywhere in Europe |
Movement is important |
I want to live and work in spain |
I have benefitted enormously from this freedom and live and work in Europe. I would like it reinstated for my younger relatives and godchildren so that they can benefit economically, and become enriched in every way. It's a scandal to limit young people like this. |
After joining the EU and re-signing the Schengen Agreement, we should give freedom of movement. Today, the UK is too isolated! And if there is freedom of movement, not only will there be railways, but also the railways will activate trade routes (maybe the railway network infrastructure will be b |
I am a proud European. I was devastated to have my rights as a European citizen torn away from me without my consent. Freedom of movement is such a wonderful thing. How could anyone rejoice in its removal? Utterly baffling. I want this sorted not just for me but for my grandchildren. |
Its what I miss most, and I resent having my ability and my children's to work, live and love over the EU countries removed. It was removed because of Boris Johnson's ambition to be PM. It is a disaster. I am a European, who has been made to feel shame at being British. |
