Stand as a Rejoin EU Party candidate to help fix the UK economy by re-joining the EU
The Rejoin EU Party aims to revive the UK’s struggling economy and restore its political influence by getting us back in the EU. Central to that is putting pressure on Labour, Keir Starmer and other major parties to accept Brexit isn’t working and to re-join the single market, customs union and EU. We believe the best way to do that is by winning seats at Westminster and on local councils.
Labour lost the Runcorn & Helsby by-election in May 2025 to Nigel Farage’s Reform UK by just six votes – but if it had had a more pro-EU policy, maybe some of the 100-plus pro-EU voters who backed the Rejoin EU Party in that by-election would have supported Labour instead, enabling it to win. Of course, Farage and Reform weren’t offering anything positive – but Labour also isn’t offering a positive alternative, especially on the EU.
We don’t want a Farage government with all the Trump-style chaos that would bring – but we don’t believe we should give Labour a free pass either, particularly when it has a large parliamentary majority, up to four more years in power and effectively continues to back the Tories’ hard Brexit.
We believe we can use mid-term by-elections to make Labour think again on Europe. To do this, we need candidates to stand in local by-elections across the country, to send a ballot-box message to Starmer that lurching to the right is not the answer and that the only way to significantly boost the economy is to re-join.
