From a working-class background, Peter worked hard to reach university, graduating with a double-first class law degree. He began his barrister’s career in Manchester, also teaching at a local sixth-form college. A passionate believer in Proportional Representation and constitutional reform, he has also campaigned on housing and environmental issues. Peter is also a keen gardener, photographer, and marathon runner—having completed over 150 to date.
