I’ve been out knocking on doors in Clacton, Frinton, Walton and Jaywick most days these past few weeks and I keep hearing the same thing: people feel forgotten and they’re tired of it.

Jaywick weighs on me most. It’s been named England’s most deprived neighbourhood four years running, but yet Westminster barely mentions it. That’s a big part of why I’m standing and why I need your help on the campaign trail. Rejoining the EU and the major boost that would give the UK economy would help to breathe new life into communities like Jaywick.

So please come and help us communicate our serious message to Clacton voters between now and polling day on Thursday August 13th.

Our next campaign sessions are this weekend, Saturday August 8th and Sunday August 9th – the final weekend before polling day – at 11am and 2pm on both days.

Whether you can spare a couple of hours, a whole day or more, we’d love to see you.

No experience is necessary – we’ll pair you with experienced volunteers and make sure you feel welcome. We’re generally out campaigning every day, so any help is greatly appreciated.

A standard return off-peak train fare to Clacton from central London is available on weekdays from about £44, according to NationalRail.co.uk (prices appear to vary according to exact time of travel) and discounts are available for those with railcards.
