Living in europe
Items I used to be able to buy from Germany are no longer available. The variety of foodstuffs has reduced. Certain medicines are more difficult to get hold of, even when prescribed.
The red tape now is ridiculous; delays, customs duty, the high cost of living in the uk, life in general for most people - not the elite of course - has become much more of a struggle.
Only as a member of the retired general public that is consistently demeaned financially by a dreadful pension and an uncaring government.
Empty shelves and problems getting things delivered from EU.
Red tape, and as we live in France, the difficulty of buying supplies from the UK due to import charges.
Higher prices
Plans to retire to France badly affected
Post Brexit, my EU-based employer eliminated all UK suppliers of hardware from its supply-chain. Plus all the usual when I am in the UK: empty shelves, increased prices, degraded quality, seeing freshly-emboldened racism and xenophobia on the street, slower mail service to and from the mainland, etc.
90 day in 180 rule for visits to Europe
Higher bills Empty shop shelves Lack of movement throughout Europe
