Rejoin EU candidates
Standing against Brexit in the General Election
“Brexit is destroying jobs, fuelling the cost of living crisis and making personal travel more and more difficult. It has clearly failed to meet any of its objectives and a general election should be an opportunity to challenge and hold properly accountable those who foisted it upon us.
“That is why we will be standing 26 candidates in the upcoming general election to challenge the “fundamental dishonesty” of the major parties trying to ignore or downplay the devasting impacts Brexit is having on the UK.”
– Brendan Donnelly, Rejoin EU Party Leader

Finchley & Golders Green – Brendan Donnelly
(Party Leader)

I want to give voters in Finchley and Golders Green, where I have lived since the 80s, a choice that the main parties refuse to offer. A chance to boost the economy and improve our quality of life by rejoining the EU.
I used to be a Conservative Member of the European Parliament but left the party over Europe.
Hendon – Ben Rend

Peckham – Alex Kerr

There are lies, damned lies, and then there’s Brexit.
Stretford & Urmston – Jim Newell
(Deputy Party Leader)

I am standing in this election because I do not believe that there is a progressive political agenda to be had in the early twenty-first century that does not embrace principles of internationalism and therefore that does not embrace EU membership.
Sevenoaks – Elwyn Jones

We have been betrayed. – The loss of Freedom of Movement has destroyed livelihoods, broken families, and contributed to sending Britain into a downward spiral. That’s why I’m standing up and asking you to lend me your Sovereignty for a short while, so I can help the UK change direction.
Oxford East – Andrew Smith
(Party Chair)

The damage caused by Brexit has destroyed 5 per cent of the economy, made the country weaker and less influential. Oxford East isn’t immune from that damage. Rejoining will create growth. Replacing 5 per cent of the economy would increase tax revenue by £40bn, enough to give the NHS £350m a week AND reduce income tax by 2p with money to spare. Labour and the Conservatives refuse to talk about the benefits of rejoining, even though a majority now support the idea. In this safe Labour seat use your vote wisely and vote to Rejoin.
South West Hertfordshire – Victor Silkin

Driven by incomplete and inaccurate information, Brexit has brought prolonged injury to the UK’s economy, politics and society. People of all walks of life, sometimes without realising it, became poorer financially and restricted in choices. Rejoin EU is the only party which aims to repair this damage by uniting all pro-EU voters, irrespective of their political preferences. All major UK issues like immigration, economy, education, health and defence will become less of a puzzle after joining the EU – which is awaiting our return patiently. Leyton & Wanstead – Simon Bezer

Battersea – Georgina Burford-Connole

Hampstead & Highgate – Christie Elan-Cane

Brexit was an appalling crime committed by a rogue government against its own people, many of whom were deceived into voting against their own interests. Eight years on from an ill-advised referendum and we are all poorer in every respect. And we’ve lost free movement. We are effectively trapped in a Brexit doom loop while the rest of the world thinks we are mad. I do not accept the situation. I will not ‘move on’. I’m not interested in the ‘benefits of Brexit’ because there are none. I want my EU Citizenship restored. I want to see positive movement in that direction. The mainstream opposition parties’ silence on Brexit is an insult and a betrayal both to those who fought to Remain and to those who now realize they were lied to.
Preston – Joseph O’Meachair

The 4th of July is your chance to send a clear message to the government: it’s time for Britain to reclaim its rightful place at the heart of European politics. REjoinEU is the only political party dedicated to addressing the challenges posed by Brexit and reversing its effects. Every vote for REjoinEU is a step towards a stronger, more united future.
Rutland & Stamford – Joanna Burrows

We need to have an honest conversation about Brexit, and how to tackle the disastrous situation we are in – especially with more and more people showing Bregret. Something none of the other parties are doing.
Hammersmith and Chiswick – Bill Colegrave

There is now a broad consensus that Brexit has damaged and diminished the country. There is no value in recriminations. Let’s take responsibility for the error and seek to reverse it.
Chipping Barnet – Richard Hewison
(Party Treasurer)

Having lived in Chipping Barnet for 24 years now, I am frustrated there is no-one else I can vote for in our constituency prepared to address the elephant in the room head on. Brexit is destroying jobs, fuelling the cost-of-living crisis and making travel harder for all of us. It must be reversed.
Tottenham – Drew Miles

Kensington & Bayswater – John Stevens

Old Bexley & Sidcup – Laurence Williams

Sheffield Hallam – Sam Chapman

Ealing Southall – Peter Ward

Putney – Felix Burford-Connole

Tooting – Jas Alduk

Cities Of London & Westminster – Liz Burford

Fareham & Waterlooville – Edward Dean

Brexit has failed to deliver (no-one here has any extra “control”), and Brexit has even created new problems (eg. Northern Ireland, Gibraltar) and new costs, like higher prices for imported foods. When policies fail like this, they should be scrapped. So, let’s scrap Brexit, let’s rejoin the EU. www.edwarddeanrejoineu.co.uk
Pendle and Clitheroe – Christopher Thompson

Melton and Syston – Matt Shouler

Brexit was a con trick. It was meant to make things better, but it has made things worse. 64% of adults already agree it was a mistake. Rejoin EU is the only party facing this fact.
Bury St Edmunds – Richard Baker-Howard
